Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with a strong background in project or programme management within engineering or manufacturing.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are essential.
- Experience with data analytics or data visualization tools is required.
- A solid understanding of manufacturing processes and data flow in operational environments is necessary.
- You should be highly organized, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
- Desirable qualifications include experience with Skywise, Power BI, or Google Workspace, as well as knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or Apps Script for automation. Familiarity with AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or similar digital technologies is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- As the Digital Transformation Project Lead, you will lead the delivery of digital transformation projects across multiple production areas.
- You will collaborate with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to design and implement new digital tools and processes.
- Your role will involve using data analytics and visualization to drive efficiency and inform decision-making.
- You will manage project plans, budgets, risks, and governance activities.
- Additionally, you will support the rollout of new digital systems and the decommissioning of legacy tools.
- Contributing to achieving annual Digitalisation Route Map milestones will also be part of your responsibilities.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a mix of technical understanding, process improvement experience, and strong project delivery skills. You will play a key role in a site-wide digital transformation journey within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment, focusing on improving efficiency, modernizing processes, and embedding innovative digital tools across key production and operational areas. The position is based in Broughton, offering hybrid working arrangements, with a negotiable rate for a 12-month contract likely extending beyond that.
