Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or a similar role. A strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and platforms is essential, with a preference for AWS CodePipeline. However, experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other similar platforms is also valuable. You should have hands-on experience with Terraform and the principles of Infrastructure as Code. Proficiency in Golang for building automation tools and integrations is a must. Additionally, expertise in various AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch is required. Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools like ECS, Kubernetes, or EKS is also necessary. You need to have a solid understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices as well as an awareness of security best practices in CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. You will be expected to build and automate CI/CD pipelines, work closely with development teams to streamline workflows, and implement Infrastructure as Code practices. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on system design, enhancing system reliability, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Engaging with both technical and non-technical teams will be crucial for effective communication. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our continuous improvement mindset and drive learning initiatives within the team.
Description
We value candidates with additional desirable skills such as experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, and exposure to service mesh and microservices architectures will be beneficial. Experience working with serverless architecture and event-driven workflows is a plus. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, strong problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities are essential. We are looking for individuals who can work independently, take ownership of complex technical challenges, and demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
