Requirements
Must:
- I seek a Senior Python Engineer with strong backend skills in Python, preferably with experience in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Full-stack experience, particularly with React, is preferred but not essential.
- I value a track record of taking products through various development environments into production.
- Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling collaborative work and the ability to explain ideas to various stakeholders.
- Prior experience integrating and working with third-party APIs and tools is a plus.
- A strong understanding of cloud technologies would be desirable.

Responsibilities
- I expect you to partner with colleagues across both technical and non-technical roles to brainstorm and deliver features that genuinely enhance the customer experience.
- You will contribute to both backend and frontend development, focusing on writing robust, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.
- I would like you to take a lead role in shaping core areas of our product architecture and driving forward meaningful technical improvements.
- Providing thoughtful code reviews is part of your role, as I aim to uphold quality standards and support team growth.
- You will influence and evolve our development practices and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for the entire team.
- I need you to keep a close eye on system health and performance, promptly addressing any issues to ensure reliability.
- You will also develop and refine data models that meet the needs of different teams across the business.
Description
This is a contract role for a Senior Software Engineer at a London-based tech startup, offering £600-£650 per day, with options for remote or hybrid work (2 days per week in London).
