Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance.
- Strong experience in Python programming and automation.
- Proficiency with Ansible and CI/CD tools (ideally Jenkins).
- Knowledge of the Atlassian toolset, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Solid understanding of bare metal infrastructure and networking concepts.
- Experience with version control (Git).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, playbooks, and workflows using Python and Ansible.
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of bare metal servers.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and integrate them with version control tools.
- Implement monitoring, reporting, and configuration management processes.
- Troubleshoot automation-related issues and optimize performance.
- Produce technical documentation and share best practices with the team.
Description
We are an SME searching for an experienced Automation Engineer/Developer to design, build, and maintain automation solutions for provisioning and managing bare metal environments. This role is key to streamlining deployments, reducing manual processes, and ensuring consistent infrastructure performance.
