Requirements
Must:
- I have a proven track record in retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing technology leadership.
- I have experience overseeing CRM and CDP programmes in a multi-site environment.
- I possess demonstrated exposure to AI in operational/retail settings, such as vision technology, customer behavior analysis, and inventory management.
- I am currently operating at a Head of level, focusing on strategy, governance, and oversight, beyond just delivery management.
- I have a strong background in supplier/vendor management and large-scale digital transformation.
- I excel in stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- I will provide leadership and governance across a portfolio of digital and AI-enabled programmes.
- I will oversee the delivery of CRM, CDP, EPOS, digital signage, and order/pay solutions through a team of project managers.
- I will drive the adoption of AI use cases, including customer flow analysis, safety monitoring, stock management, and back-office operational AI tools.
- I will ensure that digital and AI initiatives are integrated into a cohesive customer experience strategy.
- I will manage third-party vendors and partners, ensuring quality and value from external delivery.
- I will act as a senior technology leader, balancing corporate credibility with pragmatic delivery oversight.
Description
We are a high-growth, Private Equity-backed retail and hospitality group currently undergoing a major period of digital transformation. We are seeking a Head of Digital & AI to lead the integration of digital and AI-enabled initiatives across our retail estate, enhancing the customer experience and driving operational efficiency. This is a permanent position at the senior leadership level, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, oversee delivery, and play a pivotal role in our organization’s transformation agenda, including our EV infrastructure rollout.
