Requirements
Must:
- Experience managing large-scale cloud infrastructure, primarily within Azure.
- Solid proficiency in SQL and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong background in database administration in a cloud-first or hybrid environment.
- Competent with both Windows and Linux command-line operations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient database solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Implement and manage robust database backup and recovery processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance across multiple platforms.
- Design and enforce database architecture standards, indexing strategies, and schema best practices.
- Apply security protocols including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability patching.
- Collaborate across engineering, architecture, and security teams to align infrastructure with broader goals.
- Automate infrastructure processes using scripting and CI/CD tools.
