Requirements

Must:
We are looking for Tenable Nessus Engineers with the following qualifications: - 5 years of experience in the Vulnerability management domain and hands-on experience with web Proxy teams and operational issues related to vulnerability assessment. - 2 years of experience performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, and VMware environments, which includes troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and monitoring system performance or availability. - Strong understanding of IT Security concepts such as vulnerability & patch management, security operations, incident management, and incident response. - Experience with Cybersecurity data integration using enterprise or custom data aggregation and analysis tools like Splunk. - Excellent communication skills and strong troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities. - Proven experience with incident, problem and change management processes, as well as working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. - Solid understanding of networking technologies including switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, IDS, and IPS. - 3 years of related Identity Management tools engineering experience, including tools like CyberArk and Splunk.

Responsibilities

As a Vulnerability Assessment Engineer, I will be responsible for maintaining our Vulnerability Assessment toolsets, including: - Reviewing requirements, product design, and implementing, deploying, and supporting our Vulnerability Assessment tools suite (e.g., Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys). - Maintaining local and network credentials and managing access to vulnerability scanning systems. - Integrating Vulnerability assessment tooling with other security and IT systems management tools (i.e., Splunk, ServiceNow). - Developing and maintaining standard processes and operating procedures, as well as creating technical architecture diagrams and system build documentation. - Operating scanning tools, maintaining coverage, and supporting the vulnerability management and remediation teams in understanding how to address vulnerabilities across various devices (laptops, VMs, wireless devices). - Collaborating with the vulnerability management team to build asset repositories and scan policies. - Working closely with customer delivery managers to prioritize tasks and participate in technical meetings with customers' specialists. - Providing Tier 2/3 support for incidents related to security tools/solutions. - Continuously improving security deployments and integrating new technologies and services.

The role requires you to follow the Primary Responsibilities especially in maintaining and configuring Nessus, Nessus Manager, Nessus Agents, and monitoring security across both Linux/Unix and Windows environments. This includes: - Installing and configuring Nessus products and integrating them with LDAP, Active Directory, and CyberArk. - Managing scan policies, audit policies, and user management, along with secure licensing of products both online and offline. - Defining scan policies, scheduling scans, generating scan reports, and thoroughly analyzing and validating scan results. - Monitoring dashboard performance and effectively defining and configuring dashboards to ensure optimal operation.
