Requirements
Must:
We are seeking individuals with strong experience in DevOps tooling and public cloud environments, particularly AWS. You should have hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS is essential. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is required. Please note that you will need active eDV Clearance to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of DevOps tooling within a highly secure environment. Your key responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines using modern tools like GitLab CI/CD. You will automate processes related to testing, deployment, and monitoring to enhance system reliability and team productivity. Additionally, you will manage, provision, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Collaborating closely with software development teams will be crucial to ensure seamless DevOps integration across the delivery lifecycle. You will also diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD workflows.
Description
We are a growing consultancy rooted in Defence & Intelligence and are looking to expand our DevOps Engineering team due to continued growth within our business. This position is located in Gloucestershire, and you will be required on-site 3-4 days a week, although we offer flexibility in timings. The contract length is 12 months with potential extensions, and the rate for this position ranges from £550 to £650 per day inside IR35.
