Requirements
Must:
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing robust APIs.
- Familiarity with API management tools such as Postman and Gravitee.
- Understanding of middleware platforms (e.g., SnapLogic).
- Ability to translate integration requirements into effective API integration solutions.
- Knowledge of appropriate security protocols and authentication mechanisms for API interactions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Data team to gather integration requirements.
- Creating API specifications, documentation, and guidelines for consistent API usage.
- Building integrations to support real-time data synchronization, automate processes, and enhance user experiences.
- Identifying and resolving API integration issues promptly.
- Ensuring the security of API interactions and managing the lifecycle of APIs.
Description
We are recruiting for an Integration Developer to join our large, well-respected organization on a fixed-term basis for 2 years. In this role, I will support the Lead Integration Developer and work closely with the Data team to develop and implement APIs across software systems. As part of our Mainstay program, I will be building integrations to improve data and user experiences. We offer a salary between £40,000-£48,000 per annum, flexible working, 26 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays, an outstanding pension scheme with contributions of up to 16% of basic salary, life assurance, and a health and dental cash plan.
