Head of Enterprise Data Engineering

We are looking for candidates who have a successful track record of mediating and strengthening relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, and handling complex, high-risk discussions under time constraints. You should be an expert in the data development process, establishing enterprise-scale data integration procedures across the data development lifecycle and effectively managing resources. Proficiency in data innovation is essential, as well as the ability to investigate emerging trends in data-related approaches, perform horizon-scanning for the organization, and introduce innovative ways of working. Confidence in data integration design is critical, along with the ability to establish and maintain adherence to best practices across industry and government. You will need to understand how metadata repositories support different areas of the organization and be able to set up robust governance processes to maintain accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills are a must, including the anticipation of challenges and understanding their broader impact. The ideal candidate will also have a senior leadership background in delivering modern solutions to data-driven organizations and expert understanding of data platforms built on cloud environments, particularly Azure. Your ability to plan, prioritize, and communicate your team’s work effectively will be key.
