Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in Java and React development. You should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and web development best practices. Experience working in agile teams within fast-paced environments is essential. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are crucial, along with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Bonus points if you have experience with AWS, containers, or have worked in a startup environment.
Responsibilities
As a Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining backend services using Java, Spring, and Hibernate. You will define database schemas and write efficient SQL queries, while also building scalable and responsive frontend applications using React. Integrating frontend and backend components via RESTful APIs will be a key part of your role. You will conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security. Additionally, you'll manage version control with GitHub, implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

This is a hybrid role, allowing for approximately 2 days a week in our Glasgow City Office.
