Requirements
Must:
- You have advanced knowledge of Java, including multithreading.
- You possess team leadership experience, including technical project leadership, conducting code reviews, and facilitating 1-2-1s to develop team members.
- You have experience working in a Capital Markets environment, preferably related to FX.
- You hold a strong appreciation for low latency systems and code optimization to ensure high performance.
- You demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You are degree educated in Computer Science or a similar technical or numerate discipline.
Responsibilities
- You will lead a small, globally distributed team responsible for writing production-quality Java code used for pricing and hedging FX instruments while overseeing the performance of algorithms intraday.
- You will spearhead a project to modernize the FX Risk and post-trade platform into a contemporary microservices environment.
- You will collaborate closely with the business to provide technical guidance and support.
- You will perform code reviews and conduct one-on-one meetings to ensure the growth and successful delivery from the engineers within your team.
