Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates who have previous experience in an IT helpdesk or IT support role. While experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is preferred, it is not essential. You should possess strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365, VoIP, Windows Server administration, and both Windows and macOS environments. A basic understanding of networking (Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, and general troubleshooting) is essential. Furthermore, excellent communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, are necessary. An awareness of cybersecurity best practices and data protection is important as well.
Responsibilities
In the role of IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will be responsible for providing telephone, remote, and desk-side support for Windows and macOS environments. I expect you to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, VoIP, Windows Server administration, and networking. Accurately logging and managing IT support tickets to ensure timely resolution is crucial, as is clear and effective communication with clients to diagnose and resolve technical issues. You will also assist with basic cybersecurity best practices and security-related issues, and we encourage you to attend regular training and development sessions to stay updated with industry trends.

Join our dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) team in Bristol, where you will be part of a stimulating work environment that operates 5 days a week. The salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £33,000, along with a performance bonus.
