Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- An understanding of changing trends and technologies; evidence of continuous learning preferred.
- Experience working with various departments, supporting a broad skill base, including transport/fleet and inbound/outbound logistics.
- Best-in-class logistics and/or ERP experience, ideally within a FTSE100/blue chip environment.
- Change management experience in an FMCG logistics environment.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (advantageous).
- Extensive experience with Power BI, creating dashboards and reports.
- Experience with Power BI certifications and continuous learning in MS suite knowledge.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Intermediate experience with Power Apps, DAX, and M Query.
- Familiarity with SQL or PHP and data modeling.
- Ability to translate complex data into simple narratives.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles.
- Experience automating legacy reporting and creating visuals for complex operations.
- Confident in presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels, including communication of complex ideas.
- Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable decisions and plans.
- Ability to identify network gaps and derive conclusions from data findings.
- Attentive to detail, managing high volumes of information while maintaining accuracy.
- Proficient in maintaining IT-based tools, including operations systems and project management software.
Responsibilities
- Support the data analysis and reporting needs of various departments.
- Develop network BI specifically for operational teams to promote and support a self-serve environment.
- Deliver enhanced Network Visibility & Management Tools using various data sources, feeding into Power BI dashboards for practical root cause investigation and visualization.
- Provide regular insights and hands-on investigations through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to operations and key executive stakeholders.
- Manage an umbrella of BI projects, collaborating with operational partners to build project documentation and map requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather data requirements and translate them into visual insights.
- Regularly review data for accuracy, troubleshooting reporting issues.
- Build applications to support the shop floor and integrate with Power BI.
- Suggest new functionalities to enhance the overall customer and staff journey.
- Review systems and data sources to model data for clear datasets and visuals.
- Automate legacy spreadsheet reporting and migrate it to Power BI to drive a self-serve agenda across the network.
- Develop trend analysis of performance data and document improvement opportunities for Performance Managers and Analytics teams.
- Ensure day-to-day performance improvements through accurate reporting and established routines.
- Communicate regularly across teams with updates on performance, targets, and risks to ensure everyone is synchronized.
