Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role. You should have a strong knowledge of Windows OS/server platforms, networking, VPNs, and mobile devices. Familiarity with Linux, OS X, virtualization (e.g., VMware), backup solutions, and cloud platforms like Azure/AWS is also essential. Understanding the ITIL framework and working within process-driven environments is important. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills are necessary, and we value the ability to lead by example, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple support cases. A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCP, MCSA, MCSE) are a plus. A UK Driving Licence is required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across our UK and US offices, ensuring high system availability and user satisfaction. You will assist with 3rd line support and technical projects under supervision. Your tasks will include installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware, software, and networks, as well as managing service requests and incidents in line with SLAs. You will liaise with suppliers for IT equipment and services, contribute to our internal knowledge base, and participate in an on-call rota for extended support hours, including weekends. Maintaining compliance with internal processes and documentation standards is critical.
