Must:
I am looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role. You should have strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. Experience in desktop support and troubleshooting software and application issues is essential. Additionally, I value excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach, as well as a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. You'll troubleshoot and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. You'll also support software applications, including installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Managing Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user account administration will be key to your success. Maintaining patch management, security updates, and system backups will be part of your routine tasks. You will document support tickets and resolutions in our helpdesk system, assist with IT asset management, and procure hardware/software. Additionally, I expect you to work towards Microsoft and Azure Certifications for your career progression.
Description
I am offering a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be onsite 2 days per week. This position provides hands-on experience with desktop support, software/application troubleshooting, and IT projects. You will serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing technical assistance to end users and ensuring the smooth operation of systems. I am specifically looking for someone who is eager to take on Microsoft certifications, IT projects, and additional responsibilities. Interviews are happening soon.
