Requirements
Must:
- I have experience leading high-achieving data engineering teams.
- I have established data engineering best practices and fostered inclusive cultures.
- I possess a technical background with a strong understanding of Data Warehouses and SQL; experience with Databricks and Azure is desirable, although this is a hands-off role where a technical understanding is required.
- I enjoy developing others and helping them improve and succeed.
- I have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- I will lead a newly formed team that focuses on customer-facing reporting for big data sets, processing 120 billion lines of data daily.
- I will help the team scale up by implementing data engineering best practices and processes.
- I will be instrumental in developing team members, instilling a positive culture, providing line management, conducting 1-2-1s, and promoting from within the team.
- I will collaborate with the Product Team to ensure the delivery of new innovations and engage with business stakeholders to contribute to decision-making.
Description
