Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with solid experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support roles and strong knowledge of technologies such as Windows Server, Azure, Intune, and VMWare. The ideal person must be confident in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and have an understanding of IT security best practices, including backups and firewalls. You should be able to manage support tickets efficiently, prioritise your workload, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive attitude, good organisational skills, and attention to detail are essential. Additionally, flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and the ability to support across different sites are important. We value a team player mindset alongside the capability to work independently when needed.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end-users and manage and update tickets via our Incident Management System. Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring hardware and software, setting up user accounts and workstations, and monitoring system performance while troubleshooting any issues. You will also maintain IT security, backups, and firewalls, support network servers and technology tools, and create and update technical documentation and IT policies. Assisting with system upgrades and new technology rollouts, liaising with third-party support when required, and collecting and reporting on team performance KPIs are also part of your duties. Additionally, you will support the wider IT team during periods of high workload or staff absence.
