Requirements
Must:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent in Electronic Engineering; MSc preferred.
- Experience programming in C/C++.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and KiCAD.
- Strong skills in VHDL.
- Experience with microcontrollers.
- Experience developing production test specifications and procedures.
- Familiarity with basic communications protocols and standards (RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, UART).
- Experience in prototype testing and analysis.
- Proficient in using simulation and analytical tools to verify design solutions.
- Knowledge of common CE standards.
- Must be based within a commutable distance of Warrington.
- Full UK driving license.
Responsibilities
- Develop both analogue and digital circuits, including schematic capture and PCB layouts utilizing high-speed/low-noise design techniques.
- Design FPGA functionality implemented in VHDL.
- Prepare parts lists/build materials with an emphasis on ease of manufacture and cost efficiency.
- Verify design solutions using simulation and analytical tools.
- Carry out prototype testing and analysis.
- Develop production test specifications and procedures.
- Support production with problem-solving efforts.

We are offering a competitive salary of £45,000 to £50,000, dependent on skill, experience, and qualifications for this full-time position. You will benefit from 28 days of holiday (including bank holidays), a company pension scheme, and other company benefits.
