Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and capable of working independently. You should have a good degree (1st/2.1) or a PhD in a numerate discipline, along with a strong academic background that typically includes A's in A-level Maths and Physics. Strong verbal and written presentation skills are essential. We require at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
1. Complex PCB design
2. FPGA development in VHDL
3. Software development in embedded C/C++
Responsibilities
As a Lead Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing PCBs using FPGAs, SoCs, high-speed network interfaces, and analogue/RF signal filtering.
- Simulating and implementing signal, image, or data processing algorithms in VHDL for FPGAs.
- Performing schematic capture using OrCAD.
- Managing PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly subcontractors.
- Setting to work PCBs, including writing test firmware and software.
- Developing Linux device drivers for hardware.
- Mentoring and leading junior team members.
Description
We offer a competitive salary that is dependent on experience, along with a discretionary annual bonus based on company performance.
