Requirements

- Previous franchise experience is required.
Responsibilities
- I will hold professional sales meetings each day.
- I will walk the site and showroom with an ‘eyes open’ approach.
- Understanding the need for regular one-on-one coaching with the sales team is necessary.
- I will conduct regular diary reviews and analyze the details of the comments made.
- Managing branch and staff KPIs will be part of my duties.
- I will develop close professional relationships with Manufacturer Representatives.
- Ensuring that the staff works within the franchise framework and standards is essential.
- I will develop and train the sales team.
- Interacting with customers to ensure they receive ‘the best’ experience will be a priority.
- I will work closely with administration and management teams to ensure all paperwork is to the correct standard.
- Generating new business from both retail and fleet activity will be sought after.
- Raising the profile of the retail outlet through every interaction with colleagues and customers is key.
Description
I am thrilled to announce that Batchelors Motor Group is expanding and soon opening a new Omoda | Jaecoo dealership on York Road in Malton. I am looking for an experienced, motivated, and target-oriented Car Sales Manager. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday from 8:45 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, with a day off during the week. The business will be closed every Sunday (except for New Car Events) and Bank Holidays. As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves on our TLC, not PLC philosophy, and I seek individuals who embrace our Batchelors I-Can Attitude—the belief that with the right mindset, we can achieve anything together. In this role, you will embody the values required to work with both premium and volume car products, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service at all times. We offer a basic salary of £38,000, a bonus structure, a company car, and opportunities for career progression. Additional benefits include preferential staff rates, company events, a pension scheme, employee discounts, on-site parking, a referral programme, sick pay, and store discounts. The pay range is £38,000.00-£50,000.00 per year, and the position requires in-person work.
