Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced project professional skilled in project management techniques within a complex engineering or production environment. You should possess:
- Knowledge of project management tools and practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide and influence senior stakeholders across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production.
- A proficient understanding of project controls and data analysis toolsets (e.g., Tableau, COBRA, Microsoft Project, Risk management toolsets, EVM, and the Microsoft Office suite).
Desirable qualifications include:
- A Professional PM Qualification or practical experience through the application of Project Management.
- An understanding of the RAF and export Customer Organisations.
- Experience in an on-base environment.
Responsibilities
In the role of Project Manager Lead – Aircraft Availability, you will be responsible for:
- Providing project management oversight for the maintenance and availability support to Hawk training aircraft.
- Supporting and preparing for customer engagement to achieve contractual milestones and project performance data.
- Leading commercial relationships with joint venture partners.
- Integrating financial performance of project elements and preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
- Supporting team and their professional development.
- Managing and interpreting project control data, including risk and opportunity management, resource management, change control, and earned value management.
Description
This position is based in Brough or RAF Leeming, and we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements. The salary for this role is £54,793+, depending on experience.
