We are looking for candidates with proven experience as a Power BI Developer and a history of working on large-scale projects. Basic SQL skills are required, and knowledge of Starburst is a plus. We value excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively interpret complex datasets. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for conveying technical information clearly.
Responsibilities
As a Power BI Developer, I will be responsible for data modeling, including cleaning, optimization, Power Query, DAX, and dataflows. I will design new reports, add pages, and maintain high standards for existing templates. I will implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage user access while collaborating closely with other Power BI Developers, Data Engineers, QA testers, and BI Managers. Additionally, I will troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Description
This is a remote position, with the option to work from the client’s office if preferred. The contract is for 3 months and falls outside IR35, with a day rate of £400. I will be engaging through ALYS&MARTIN and working with a global media agency on a major automotive client account. My focus will be on developing, cleaning, optimizing, and maintaining reports, including a cross-brand and cross-market dashboard, while implementing Power BI best practices to ensure scalability, usability, and performance.
