Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in data governance, data quality, and data management.
- Strong understanding of data-related regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act).
- Experience designing and delivering training programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with senior leaders.
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into accessible language.
- Familiarity with data governance tools and technologies.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
- Desirable: Experience in change management and organisational transformation, certifications in Data Governance/Data Management (e.g., DAMA, DCAM), and project or programme management experience.

- Act as the go-to expert for data governance and data quality, influencing and supporting senior leaders to adopt best practices.
- Develop, assess, and implement data governance and data quality frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Define and promote clear roles and responsibilities for data ownership and stewardship.
- Design and deliver engaging training programmes to increase awareness and capability across the organisation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and gather feedback.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to track data quality and governance effectiveness, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
