Requirements
Must:
- Strong knowledge of Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies, including switching and IP addressing best practices
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco routers and switches (e.g., 3850s, Nexus 9k, ISRs, ASRs)
- Experience configuring networks in a managed data-networking environment, supported by a relevant networking qualification
- Self-motivated, with the ability to build strong customer relationships and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Active SC clearance is strongly desirable
Responsibilities
- Configure routers and switches in line with design documents (IP data perspective)
- Onboard devices onto the network management platform
- Rack and stack relevant devices in Data Centres
- Attend internal meetings and work closely with project managers to deliver the implementation plan
- Provide out of hours standby support on a minimum 1 in 6 ROTA basis
- Travel to various locations for physical interventions during incident management
