Must:
We are looking for a highly experienced Data Scientist with the following qualifications, experience, and qualities:
- Extensive experience and proven results in a senior position.
- A Master's degree in data science, applied data science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with database systems, SQL, and full proficiency in Power BI.
- Strong mathematical skills with a solid knowledge of statistical methods and probability.
- Experience with various machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with a sound problem-solving ability.
- Task-oriented with a solid sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data results to internal stakeholders.
- Good presentation skills with the ability to create effective visual representations of findings.
- A team player with previous project experience.
Responsibilities
As our new Data Scientist, you will be working closely with the senior management team and reporting directly to the CEO. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Mining data from various company databases and systems.
- Preparing data for analysis.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to identify patterns and potential insights.
- Applying statistical modeling and using machine learning techniques to identify trends and make forecasts.
- Evaluating model performance using different metrics and refining models to enhance performance.
- Creating visual representations of data, including graphs, dashboards, and charts.
- Presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders to aid business problem-solving and operations improvement.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify needs, communicate data-driven recommendations, and create actionable plans.
- Using data to identify potential future business problems.
- Staying updated on new technologies and tools for data analysis.
- Ensuring that data is collected, stored, and used ethically and responsibly.
