Must:
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in information procurement or product management within a professional services or law firm environment. You should have a strong track record in vendor management and contract negotiation at a regional or global level. Additionally, you must possess deep knowledge of legal and business research tools and platforms, including AI tools. Strong analytical skills are essential, as well as experience in using data to inform decisions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are a must, along with the comfort of working in a large, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders. You should be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and confident in presenting and training users on tools and platforms. A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach is vital for this role.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of information and research tools across practice groups and regions. You will lead the procurement, renewal, and cancellation of subscriptions and resources while driving usage analysis to evaluate return on investment and inform decisions. Supporting vendor management, contract negotiations, and supplier performance will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will promote the effective and compliant use of tools, especially those that have AI capabilities, and deliver targeted training and engagement to support user adoption. Acting as a key contact for product access, troubleshooting, and stakeholder support will also be crucial, as well as collaborating closely with Knowledge, Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams. Finally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, processes, and service delivery.
