We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest and enthusiasm in the wider field of Audio Visual technology. Candidates should have basic experience or relevant training in areas such as Event Production, Teaching Technologies, Integrated System Technology (AV control systems), AV installation, Video Conferencing Systems, Desktop Computers & IT, PowerPoint/Photoshop and design packages, Teaching VLE & Collaborate, Digital Signage Systems, Theatre Production, Broadcast Media Technologies, Audio Engineering, Digital Streaming, and Social Media. While we expect candidates to have varying skill sets and possibly not experience in all areas, a willingness to continuously develop and train is essential. Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as in a diverse technical team are crucial.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will be responsible for the 2nd/3rd line triage of all incidents and requests, ensuring high availability of our Audio-Visual Services and IT systems. The varied responsibilities include the design, installation, support, and maintenance of Audio-Visual installations, teaching space equipment, event production technology, and digital media production. I will be tasked with delivering against SLAs, resolving major incidents, and supporting the delivery of our ITIL processes. My work will focus on developing the University’s Audio Visual technology capabilities, allowing me to challenge myself, progress, and seize every opportunity.
