Must:
We require that all applicants be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance for the role. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance, and for 10 years for DV. Qualifications and skills needed include: - Proven experience managing and developing IT support services. - Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management methodologies. - Expertise in Office 365, Azure, and Windows Server. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware and Hyper-V). - Experience with SAN technologies and Windows 10/11, Windows Server. - Proficiency in M365 / Microsoft Exchange, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM. - Understanding of networking including TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, and firewalls. - A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience. - Strong ability to manage conflict resolution within direct teams, cross-functionally, and with external vendors. - Experience working in a global environment. - Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery. - Ability to obtain and maintain DV level security clearance.

Responsibilities

As the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist with the overall responsibility of the day-to-day provision, management, and support of the local IT infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include: - Managing daily IT support requests and issues, ensuring excellent customer service across the support team. - Monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading core infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems, in line with compliance and certification requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus). - Diagnosing and resolving technical faults and problems. - Delivering projects to improve IT services and systems. - Ensuring robust IT security, data protection, and compliance. - Keeping Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity plans up to date, including annual “live” testing of these processes. - Staying informed about technological advancements, advising on new technological solutions, and managing succession planning for technology implementations. - Creating proposals for IT improvement and project requirements, along with annual budget considerations for financial review.
