Requirements
Must:
- I require a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- I expect you to have knowledge of Windows Server Platforms, Virtualization technologies, Backup solutions, Networking technologies (LAN, WAN, and WLAN), Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS), Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, and Terminal Services.
- Experience with operating systems, specifically Windows Server 2012+ and Windows 10, is necessary.
- Familiarity with PowerShell and scripting languages is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- I prefer candidates with experience in an MSP environment.
- Relevant IT certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNP, or equivalent experience are preferred.
- You should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- As a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will provide high-level technical support for client issues escalated by the 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk Engineers.
- You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair IT infrastructure, cloud, hardware, software, and networking systems for clients.
- You will plan and manage your workflow daily to ensure the achievement of KPIs.
- It will be important to proactively stay updated with the technologies we support, including firewalls, network routing and switching, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility & Security (including Intune and Azure AD), wireless networking, server hardware, and virtualization technologies (VMware, vSphere, Zerto), among others.

This full-time on-site role located in Borehamwood offers a hybrid working model. You will be part of our friendly, supportive service desk team as a key member. We value individuals who have a natural aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving, embrace continual change and process improvement, and demonstrate a passion for customers and delivering service excellence. The salary for this permanent role ranges from £40,000 to £45,000, depending on experience.
