Must:
We are looking for a driven, proactive, and hands-on team player with a passion for quality and customer care. The ideal candidate will have: - Practical experience with fibre installations (essential) - Familiarity with Openreach UG/OH specifications, including Sign, Lighting & Guarding - MEWP certification and TETRA qualification - Basic understanding of civil works and fibre routing - Confidence working at height and with tools and equipment - IT literacy with the ability to complete digital forms - A full UK driving licence - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Responsibilities

In the role of Network Readiness Engineer, you will prepare properties for fibre broadband installation and ensure our high-speed network is ready prior to the installation date. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing residential and commercial properties for fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) installation - Conducting underground works, including slot trenching and managing Openreach ducting - Carrying out overhead fibre feeds from Truespeed or Openreach poles - Leaving fibre coiled safely at the property, ensuring Openreach and Truespeed standards are met - Identifying and escalating blockages, civils work needs, or tree obstructions - Supporting the installation team and broader field teams as required - Performing rod and rope, subducting, and cable pulling duties - Maintaining all tools, equipment, and vehicles in working order - Using the correct equipment for each task and completing all necessary digital forms - Communicating effectively and managing customer expectations onsite
