Requirements
Must:
- Strong portfolio of UX work is essential
- Demonstrable experience in User-Centred Design
- Experience creating user-friendly and intuitive user experiences
- Experience in conducting research using a variety of methods
- Understanding of using Agile frameworks to deliver solutions
- Experience in conducting usability testing and highlighting actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (desirable)
- GDS (Government Digital Service) experience (desirable)
- Experience in designing systems for users with digital accessibility needs, including an understanding of WCAG 2.2 (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Produce research plans containing appropriate methods to address research problems
- Conduct user research to establish user needs, highlight pain points, and seek opportunities to improve user experiences
- Select and use the most appropriate research methods, including user interviews and surveys
- Create user personas and define customer/user journeys
- Develop wireframes of varying fidelity and create interactive prototypes as required using tools such as Adobe XD, Axure, Figma, and Balsamiq
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback
- Plan and conduct workshops with users and stakeholders
- Collaborate with users, Product Owners, business stakeholders, technical teams, and Business Analysts
- Create sitemaps and style guides (desirable)
- Actively seek feedback on designs and encourage constructive criticism from stakeholders
- Research and design the information architecture (desirable)
- Keep track of industry trends and act as a thought leader in UX for Triad, both inside and outside the company (desirable)
- Support and develop the Triad UX community of practice
