Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on development experience in embedded C/C++.
- Previous experience delivering software across the full lifecycle.
- Understanding of hardware-software interfacing and electronics schematics.
- Familiarity with PLCs, version control systems, and debugging tools.
- A degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
*Desirable (but not essential):*
- Assembly language exposure.
- Experience with PCB CAD systems.
- Awareness of agency approvals and networking protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software on microprocessor-based systems.
- Support hardware integration, including sensors, transducers, and PLCs.
- Maintain the software repository (Azure), manage version control and releases.
- Test and validate code, supporting the build/validate team with product releases.
- Document code and support release notes, user guides, and more.
- Represent the business during key customer calls and when working with external developers.
