Requirements

Must:
We are looking for an individual with previous IT support experience, preferably in an education setting. You will need to reliably commute between multiple sites to provide support through our traded service agreements. Your knowledge, skills, and experience should include: - Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite - Demonstrable knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server OS - Working experience with networking hardware configuration including LAN, WAN, and network deployment applications such as SCCM, InTune, Google Admin Console, and MDM solutions - Experience in multi-domain, single-tenant Office 365 management - Familiarity with backup infrastructure technologies, including NAS, replication hosts, Veeam, and BaaS

Responsibilities

As an IT Engineer, you will work as part of our school support team, supporting the IT infrastructure across all TEAL Schools. This includes LAN, WAN, WiFi, server, storage, and IT assets. You will serve as the local IT support team's escalation link for effectively resolving 2nd and 3rd line issues, allowing on-site teams to efficiently manage 1st and 2nd line queries. This role is solutions and problem-solving oriented, requiring close collaboration with the local IT support team, the TEAL School Support IT team, and the IT Director to provide outstanding IT support services. Your role will be based at Driffield School and Sixth Form, with the expectation that you may travel to other sites as needed.

This is a permanent position, working up to 37 hours per week. However, if you are interested in working on a part-time or flexible basis, we would be happy to explore this further with you. The actual salary upon appointment with us will be £36,363 gross per annum (based on a full-time equivalent).
