Requirements
Must:
- Experience in automated testing and framework development.
- Solid understanding of SQL, JavaScript, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and suggest improvements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience with Azure.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks using tools like Nightwatch, Selenium, or similar.
- Create and execute automated test scripts that align with changing requirements.
- Conduct API testing with tools such as Postman, and validate data using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
Description
We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our dynamic Engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in building high-quality, scalable software solutions and help deliver reliable, high-performing software products through advanced testing practices and robust automation frameworks. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining automated test solutions to support continuous delivery, working closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure that software changes maintain high quality standards from start to finish. This position is fully remote, with occasional visits to our Cheshire site, and is offered on a contract basis outside of IR35. The duration is for 6 months, with possible renewals.
