Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Senior AWS Data Engineer with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in AWS data engineering technologies, including Glue, PySpark, Athena, Iceberg, Databricks, Lake Formation, and other standard data engineering tools. Candidates should have previous experience in implementing best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security. Proficiency in data processing and analysis using Python and SQL is essential. Additionally, strong knowledge of market data and its applications is important. Some highly valued skills include experience with other data engineering tools and technologies, familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts, and knowledge of our data strategy and practices.
Responsibilities
In this VP-level role, you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes using AWS technologies. You will implement robust data governance, quality, and security practices. Collaboration with data scientists to deploy machine learning models will be a key part of your work. You will also lead or contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Our goal is to drive innovation through advanced analytics and research-based problem solving.
