Requirements
Must:
- You’ll be in your penultimate year at university.
- Strong knowledge, understanding, and technical skills aligned to the role.
- Full, unlimited right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and experience in manipulating and deriving insight from data.
- Python coding experience, knowledge of SQL, and ability to use statistical modelling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy machine learning models for fraud detection, credit risk, and customer segmentation.
- Engineer robust data pipelines and ML workflows using Apache Spark and CI/CD tooling.
- Apply advanced techniques in deep learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling.
- Explore and evaluate Generative AI applications.
- Design agentic AI systems for autonomous decision-making.
- Innovate on Google Cloud Platform, scaling from experimentation to production.
- Deliver AI in an ethical and responsible way, understanding associated risks and governance.
Description
At Lloyds Banking Group, we leverage data and AI to tackle significant challenges in the banking sector. Youll join our Chief Data & Analytics Office, gaining hands-on experience in data science and AI through a mix of office and home working. As an intern, youll be supported by a dedicated mentor and a close-knit team, with opportunities for personal growth and career development. Our hybrid working policy requires a minimum of two days in the office each week, located in Leeds. Youll receive a competitive salary of £25,000 per year while acquiring skills that will shape the future of tech and finance.
