Requirements
Must:
- Proven background delivering complex technical projects, ideally network-related.
- Strong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, and firewall technologies.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
- Confident stakeholder communicator, capable of bridging technical and non-technical discussions.
- Skilled in Agile and/or ITIL delivery environments.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams.
Desirable:
- Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or similar.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CCNP.
- Familiarity with tools like Terraform, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Ansible.
- Awareness of Zero Trust and cloud networking best practices.
Responsibilities
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of a major network infrastructure project including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Working alongside architects, engineers, and client teams to translate requirements into clear and actionable plans.
- Overseeing the implementation of key technologies, including:
- LAN/WAN architecture
- Firewall, VPN, and secure remote access
- Network segmentation and zoning
- Deployment of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Network monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning
- Ensuring all solutions meet compliance and security standards (GDPR, ISO27001).
- Running technical workshops, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth operational handovers.
