Requirements
Must:
- A strong academic background in a relevant technical subject (e.g., Electronics, Communications, Computing)
- Experience with VHDL/Verilog and C programming for FPGA firmware development
- Knowledge of communications systems, modulation techniques, and DSP principles
- Understanding of firmware/software design methodologies and the full product development lifecycle
- Familiarity with SoC modular designs and embedded firmware implementation
- Comfortable working in Windows and/or Linux development environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and document firmware for FPGA-based DSP applications
- Support integration, test plan development, execution, and reporting while collaborating with the Test & Acceptance teams
- Participate in design and code reviews and provide informal guidance to junior engineers
- Contribute ideas within a collaborative environment
Description

As an FPGA Firmware Engineer, you will take ownership of complex firmware projects for FPGA-based DSP systems utilized in advanced aviation communication products. Working within a team of approximately 50 engineers, you will engage throughout the complete development lifecycle, from design to testing and validation. This role offers you the chance to work on cutting-edge FPGA firmware, collaborate with a talented, supportive team on long-term projects with clear career progression, and enjoy flexible working arrangements.
