Must:
We require strong skills in Advanced SQL, SSIS, Python, and Shell scripting. A proven experience with ER Studio for data modeling is essential, and a working knowledge of GCP components such as Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery, and Kafka is necessary. Additionally, familiarity with Agile methodologies is important for this role.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, I will be responsible for analyzing current data pipelines and documenting Source-to-Target Mappings (STTM). I will trace data flows between source and downstream systems, define requirements for data ingestion and consumption in the target architecture, and support Data Modellers in designing enterprise-level data products. I will apply my knowledge of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models, utilizing enterprise data modeling techniques such as star schema and snowflake schema, while also using normalization and de-normalization techniques where appropriate.
Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support the migration and reimagining of enterprise data systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will play a crucial role in this project by working on-site in Central London three days a week. This position is temporary with a duration of 6 months, and the pay is up to £425 per day (inside IR35). The start date is ASAP.
