Requirements
Must:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following eligibility criteria by the application closing date:
- Hold at least a Level 4 qualification in Computing, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline related to Information Systems and Information Technology.
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in network engineering, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level networks.
- Possess at least 2 years' experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
- Show a strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Demonstrate proven experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint protection.
- Exhibit the ability to troubleshoot network and Azure-related issues using network analysis tools.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Network Engineer with us, your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a vital member of our cloud migration team, where you will research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies or redesign existing solutions.
- Contributing to the configuration and management of Azure cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability and the prompt resolution of issues.
- Overseeing network onboarding processes for new users and systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Configuring and managing cloud networking services to ensure secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Monitoring cloud network usage and scaling services according to evolving business needs.
- Supporting the ongoing development of our Cloud-First hybrid infrastructure in alignment with best practices.
