Must:
We are looking for an iOS Engineer with deep expertise in SwiftUI and modern iOS UI engineering. You should possess a strong understanding of iOS accessibility APIs and best practices. Experience working with structured data, especially JSON, is essential, and familiarity with design tokens would be a plus. You need to be comfortable collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team, and having CI/CD experience will be a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will build and maintain reusable, accessible UI components in SwiftUI. You will prototype and collaborate across disciplines to explore and validate design ideas. Working with data, including JSON transformation and integration into UI workflows, will be part of your duties. You will also support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation and tooling, while helping to define how we design and build UI at scale.
Description
This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about the future of iOS and is deeply committed to accessibility. You will join our cross-functional team in Bristol (onsite) to build the bank's design system, which spans every platform (iOS, Android, Web, Figma) and every brand. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes SwiftUI and is eager to help shape the future of UI across the bank. Attention to detail is crucial due to the importance of meticulous coding, testing, and security implementation in financial applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, QA, and backend teams. A basic understanding of banking products, transactions, and financial concepts will be highly advantageous.
