Requirements
Must:
- Current SC Clearance (essential)
- Experience working in central government or the wider public sector
- Strong understanding of GDS service standards and UCD principles
- Hands-on experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research
- Confidence working with data teams – understanding data workflows, pipelines, analytics, or visualization tools is a plus
- Able to work within Agile multidisciplinary teams (product, design, data, development)
- Comfortable leading user research through discovery and alpha phases
Responsibilities
As a User Researcher, you will be responsible for planning and conducting user research across a complex service landscape. Your insights will feed into the design and development of tools and services aimed at driving better outcomes through data. You will collaborate actively with data-focused multidisciplinary teams to ensure our project’s success.
Description
We are hiring a contract User Researcher to support a public sector consultancy client on a data-driven project within central government. This role requires active SC Clearance and experience working with data-focused multidisciplinary teams. The contract offers a competitive rate of £450/day, is remote with occasional meetings in London, and is set to run initially until the end of January, with the potential for an extension.
