To apply for our Data Science & AI Industrial Placement, you should be in your penultimate year at university. While we do not have a minimum degree achievement requirement, we strongly recommend demonstrating sound knowledge, understanding, and technical skills aligned with the role. Additionally, you need to possess full, unlimited rights to work in the UK, as we cannot offer sponsorship for this program. Proficiency in analytical techniques, experience in manipulating and deriving insights from data, and coding experience in Python and SQL are essential, as these skills will be assessed during the application process.

Responsibilities
In this placement, you will actively engage in data science and AI projects, rather than just observing. Your tasks will include training models, crafting algorithms, and deploying scalable solutions. You might be involved in uncovering insights, making predictions, and solving complex problems as a Data & AI Scientist, or you could take on the role of a Machine Learning & AI Engineer, designing robust systems that bring data science to life. You will work with significant datasets and utilize tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and GCP to create smart banking solutions, ensuring all work is ethically grounded and has a real business impact.
