Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who have strong knowledge of CI/CD security integrations and DevSecOps principles. You should be proficient in security assessment tools, including SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA, along with pipeline automation. Expertise in CI/CD security and the automation of security assessments is essential. Experience with Infrastructure as Code security tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, as well as Policy-as-Code strategies (such as Azure Policy and OPA), is necessary. You should have a solid understanding of securing hybrid and multi-cloud environments, as well as on-premises setups. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, and CIS, along with secure design principles, is important. Additionally, skills in threat modeling, Zero Trust, Least Privilege, and Network Segmentation are required. You should also be knowledgeable about SSDLC, governance, risk management, compliance, and secure coding practices. An understanding of architectural patterns like Multi-Tier, Microservices, and Event-Driven design, as well as frameworks like TOGAF and SABSA, will be beneficial. Lastly, you must have the right to work in Ireland and be able to work onsite in Dublin within a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
As a Security Assessment Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of security automation within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing enterprise-grade security assessment pipelines that integrate SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA tools into our CI/CD workflows. You will be responsible for integrating security testing into Infrastructure as Code workflows to ensure security by design in automated deployments. Your support will extend to cloud-native (Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure through tailored assessment strategies. You will implement pre-deployment validation for immutable resources and create scanning solutions for long-lived assets using network and agent-based tools. Establishing frameworks for automated enforcement of security baselines and compliance requirements will also be a key focus. Collaborating with DevOps and platform teams to embed security early in the software delivery process will be essential. You will continuously evaluate emerging security tools and techniques to ensure alignment with evolving threats and technologies. Lastly, you will provide governance, secure design patterns, and best practices for security automation.
