Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in an Information Security role, specifically in implementing information security controls across a range of technologies, such as Security Architect or Security Project Lead. It is essential that you have a strong customer focus to ensure internal stakeholder needs are met. A background in project delivery is also necessary. We prefer candidates who hold CISSP, CISM, or other equivalent foundational security qualifications or have relevant experience. Additional qualifications such as CEH, OSCP, GIAC, or experience in penetration testing security, as well as SABSA, SANS, or other technical architecture qualifications, would be advantageous. Experience with SAFE, Scrum, or other Agile methodologies is important, along with qualifications or experience related to Data Protection, Risk, Legal, or HR.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with liaising with the UK COO & CTO, Head of Information Security, and project teams to manage the security components of strategic projects, ensuring that goals are achieved on time and within budget. You will deliver assigned UK Security projects which enhance our controls and mitigate new risks, again ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion. Additionally, you will provide consultancy within the UK Security team regarding the security aspects of various business goals and plans outside of the CTO's scope. It will be your responsibility to build secure solutions that can be measured by Coverage, Quantity, and Quality metrics, all while maintaining them in a supportable and manageable Business as Usual state. You will also provide technical consultancy on third-party risk for specific solutions, and proactively investigate new threats to our business, proposing effective solutions to address those risks.
