Requirements
Must:
- Ability to lead and motivate individuals
- Experience in juggling priorities
- Ability to motivate colleagues on the importance of security awareness
- Experience in developing and documenting security processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of IT Audit
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to foster and build collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders
- Experience in delivering security investigations
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the IT Security team
- Support the Head of Cyber Security in delivering the cyber strategy
- Monitor regulatory compliance with security policies and educate the organization on compliance efforts
- Develop, deploy, and oversee business-wide cyber security training
- Set usage and security policies and processes for information sharing on internal and external platforms
- Ensure documented processes exist for all operational security workstreams, prioritizing incident response procedures including runbooks for specific threat types (e.g., Ransomware, Malware)
- Oversee vulnerability management
- Manage IT security incidents, investigations, and reports
- Work on projects to implement improved security and ensure that changes in the organization are appropriately secured
Description
We are looking for a Cyber Security Manager to join our Strategic Asset Management team here at Southern Housing. You will report to the Head of Cyber Security and help support in delivering our cyber strategy while managing a team of five individuals who identify and manage IT security incidents, investigations, and reports. This is a fantastic role with a broad range of responsibilities that will allow you to make a real impact in an important position within our organization.
You will be based at our office in Farringdon, working three days in the office per week. At Southern Housing, our residents are at the heart of everything we do.
