Requirements
Must:
- I require commercial experience in a Cyber Security position.
- I need a solid understanding of the cyber security risks associated with various technologies and effective management strategies for those risks.
- I expect familiarity with security applications and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- A good working knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, host intrusion prevention systems, and anti-virus solutions is essential.
- A basic understanding of Azure / 365 Defender is preferred.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I will play a crucial part in ensuring the IT environment remains secure.
- I will assist in mitigating potential attacks and serve as a point of escalation for incidents.
- I am responsible for delivering both proactive and reactive monitoring and protection.
- I will work to ensure compliance with established processes and policies.
- Additionally, I will educate individuals about everyday cyber threats that may affect our organization.
