Must:
We require you to have a strong background in the Microsoft tech-stack, particularly in .NET development with software security experience. Your experience should include roles such as Azure DevSecOps Consultant, or a solid background as a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator. We are looking for someone who has transitioned from development into software security or cloud security. It is essential for you to possess strong Azure skills, though a blend with AWS would be acceptable. A solid grounding in software development is crucial, as you will be collaborating closely with developers, enabling you to speak their language and build trust.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be taking over a function that has been successfully integrated into our company over the past two years. You will be working with cross-functional teams, which requires strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across various functions. This is a lead "hands-on" role, ideal for someone with a consultancy background who possesses the necessary practical skills. You will play a key role in helping teams embed security into their daily operations, and you will continuously seek to automate, streamline, and shift security practices left—all without compromising on quality or overall security.

Our ideal candidate will have experience with the following: - Microsoft Tech Stack Development experience with Software Security - Demonstrable experience as a Systems Administrator or Software Developer, or both - Expertise in Cloud Security - A genuine passion for Software Security/DevSecOps, with knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Sonar Cloud, Wiz, and security products like Trivy preferred - Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure - A strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices - The ability to conduct rapid risk assessments and threat modeling - Technical skills in Azure Security Monitoring, including Application Insights and SIEM - Excellent communication skills to ensure alignment with stakeholders and successful outcomes throughout the product delivery and ongoing support processes.
