Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a customer-facing IT office environment or software support role
- Proven ability to proactively address customer concerns and exceed expectations
- Passion for real-time problem solving and troubleshooting complex issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Experience in meeting deadlines and prioritizing competing workloads
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications, Services, and Android
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrable planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to conduct ad-hoc or exploratory testing
- Self-motivated and able to learn/resolve new software and business processes quickly
- A can-do attitude with a desire to learn new skills and technologies unique to the vending industry
Desirable skills:
- Multilingual capabilities
- Technical exposure to Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with AWS platforms
- Familiarity with the vending or beverage industry
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent in English, Maths or IT
Responsibilities
- Effectively respond to first-line support queries from customers using our software via phone and email
- Provide accurate, efficient, and customer-focused responses
- Escalate issues to second-line support when necessary
- Deliver excellent verbal and written communication while helping to find resolutions
- Respond to and assist with advanced software support inquiries, monitoring progress to ensure resolution
- Assist with software testing as required prior to the release of new software versions
- Aid the Software Migration Team in implementing the software for new customers
- Provide software support across various platforms including Windows Desktop, SQL Server, Android Mobile Applications, and Microsoft RDP/RD Web
- Assist the Support Manager by escalating complex issues to the development team while keeping customers informed
- Help manage client support through Zoho Desk and CRM

We have an exciting opportunity for a SaaS / IT Support Engineer to join our multi-award-winning team in Sheffield (S8) with a hybrid work option of two fixed days per week. The salary ranges from £25,000 to £28,000, depending on experience, and we offer a full-time permanent position with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays and additional benefits.
